5-star safety from Ford Kuga

The new generation of the popular SUV Ford Kuga offers exceptional levels of safety to the passengers, according to the independent European organization Euro NCAP.

In the recent impact tests carried out by the agency, the new Kuga received the 5-star rating. In the category of adult passenger protection it received 92%, in child protection 86%, in pedestrian protection 82% and in the operation of driver assistance systems it received 73%.

Crash tests were performed on the 2.0 diesel 4×4 automatic version, according to the stricter Euro NCAP specifications.

It is worth noting that the Kuga’s structure uses high-strength steel throughout the frame, while steel pipes are installed on the A pillars and along the roof.
