Opel Insignia.Opel has unveiled the updated version of its flagship range, which is expected to launch in European markets by 2020.

The Insignia features a redesigned front that highlights the car’s sporty features. The new chrome grille is wider and has prominent grilles. The brand logo in the center of the chrome bar looks bigger. The chrome bar extends right and left to the LED daytime running lights, which are now at the bottom rather than at the top of each headlamp.

The model looks lower and wider, with the rear section having clearer lines, accommodating rectangles instead of round exhaust ends.

In the cabin, elegance and style are perfectly combined. The Germans installed new ornaments, enriched equipment with an advanced multimedia system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Connected Navigation with real-time traffic information, online map updates and forecasting needs, as well as a digital rear-view camera.

Of course, the AGR ergonomic seats, electric tailgate and technologies are not missing:

Forward collision alert automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection
Lane keep assist: lane maintenance system
Side blind spot alert: blind spot warning system
Adaptive cruise control with emergency braking
Traffic sign recognition: road sign recognition
Advanced park assist: advanced parking assist system
Head-up display that keeps the driver’s attention on the road

As for the mechanical parts, we don’t expect any changes, with the well-known petrol and diesel engines fitting the model.
