Daytona 500: Ryan Newman Crash

Famous racing driver Ryan Newman was taken to hospital after an accident on Monday night’s Daytona 500 race.

The car slammed into the wall, shattered into the air, fell to the ground upside down, dragged for many meters and, just before it stopped, caught fire.

The shocking images were transmitted by all US television networks, which said Newman was seriously injured but escaped danger.

At the time of impact, Newman was running at 310 km / h.
