Drone video of the Peruvian Andes by this weeks featured creator Andreas Giesen. This drone footage was filmed in Peru using a Yuneec Typhoon H and captures incredible deep blue lagoons, narrow canyons, snowy mountain peaks and shimmering deserts of Peru in the most Epic way possible.

A bit about this video from Andreas and how he captured this impressive areal drone footage:
“This drone video was filmed during a 12-day trip in the North/Middle of Peru. On our way from Lima to Chan Chan, an ancient city, we traveled along the coast with endless beaches and many different kinds of unique birds and wild life that can only be found in Peru. Coming a bit away from the coast we encountered shimmering deserts and ruined castles. Then we drove to Cajamarca, a city at nearly 9,800ft height and majestic stone structures. The next stop was Caraz, in the middle of the Peruvian Andes. Nearby at 13,450ft is the lake Paron, turquoise water, nearly 4km long and seamed by snowy mountain peaks. To get to Chavin de Hauntar, ruins of a long forgotten culture, we had to drive through the highest tunnel on earth, at 15,535 feet above sea level, in the Cordillera Blanca mountain range. Near Cerro de Pasco, a mining city, we drove through the vast highlands to get to the “Forest of Trees”, an area with stone formations, some shaped like animals, some just gigantic. On the way back to Lima we had to do several stops to capture cold mountain lakes and Alpaca herds in unspoiled nature.”
