Toyota Yaris GR. It is described as a “storm”, a powerful supermini, capable of causing the driver to thrill and provide unique moments of enjoyment on every terrain.

The new Toyota Yaris GR was officially unveiled, with its specs thrilling. It is the best small, WRC racing car production, has evolved from the top of the line and tested on the most demanding special routes.

The designation of “racing road” is not an exaggeration. It features a dynamic bodykit that resembles rally cars, including toned wings, large bumpers, aerodynamic aids, diffuser, dual exhaust ends and large brakes. It comes in 18-inch alloy wheels with 225/40-sized Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires and is lower by 95 mm. compared to the simple Yaris.

Underneath the bonnet is a brand new 1.6 turbo racing engine. The engine delivers 261 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque, with performance being superb for class data. The 0-100 is reached in 5.5 seconds and the top speed is 250 km / h.

Drive through the four wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox and the GR-Four four-wheel drive system. The driver has three driving profiles. In normal mode the distribution is 60/40, in Sport it is 30/70 and in Track 50/50.

Also available is the optional ‘Circuit Pack‘ package with Torsen limited slip differential on both front and rear axles, for optimum driving acceleration with a range from 100/0 (front drive) to 0/100 (fully rear drive).

The Yaris GR weighs 1,280 kg, the brakes consist of 356 mm front discs. with four-piston calipers, while inside make the sporty seats with the GR logo on the headrests, the three-wheel steering wheel and the aluminum pedals.

The car will be manufactured in a new unit at Motomachi by specialized engineers, as the assembly process requires complete precision. As for the launch in the market, the next time will be announced.
