Lexus the first electric model UX 300e

The most efficient car, a fully electric passenger car that offers great autonomy and is distinguished by its unique levels of comfort, Lexus said.

It’s called the Lexus UX 300e and is essentially the EV version of the new compact SUV. This is the first electric model in the history of the Japanese brand.

It is powered by a 204-hp and 300 Nm torque motor, which receives power from a 54.3 kWh battery installed on the body floor. With a 50 kW charger, it charges in 50 minutes, while a home network 6.6 kW in seven hours, ensuring 400 km autonomy.

Thanks to its low center of gravity and sporty suspension arrangement, the driving behavior of the vehicle is enjoyable. Also great is the soundproofing of the cabin, with the equipment including a variety of auxiliary systems.

The launch of the Lexus UX 300e will begin in 2020, initially in the markets of Europe and China.
