The next Volvo XC90 will be fully electric

Volvo XC90.In the process of development is the new generation of the big Swedish SUV, with the debut on the market slated for late 2021 or early 2022.

As revealed by Volvo chief Hakan Samuelsson in the UK, the new Volvo XC90 will be based on the SPA2 platform and will be available in mild hybrid versions, plug-in hybrids and as a fully electric drive.

The car will also be distinguished for its innovative technologies, advanced driver assistance systems, very high safety levels and luxurious features.It is recalled that by 2025 Volvo’s goal is to sell 50% of pure electric cars.
