Megane R.S. Trophy-R.Following the famous Nurburgring in Germany, the famed Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium and the demanding Bend Motorsport Park in Australia, Renault broke the race record in yet another race track.

The Megane R.S. Trophy-R posted the best time on the Suzuka circuit in Japan in the category of front-wheel drive cars, with 2: 25.454. Behind the wheel of Megane R.S. Trophy-R was the professional guide Laurent Hurgon.

Recall that the car is powered by the 1.8 turbo 300 hp and 400 Nm engine. It has an upgraded frame and steering, sports suspension, Ohlins shock absorber, 4Control four-wheel drive, Akrapovic titanium exhaust, Brembo brakes, bucket seats and more.

Its production will be limited to 500 units, with deliveries scheduled by 2020.
