VW’s compact SUV Volkswagen ID.4

Volkswagen ID.4. After the ID.3, which will be launched in the summer, Volkswagen is ready to introduce the second purely electric model of the ID family.

The car is called the ID.4 and belongs to the compact SUV. It is based on the MEB (Modularer E-Antriebs Baukasten) variable platform, with compact dimensions, plenty of interiors, sporty features, intuitive operation and high connectivity capabilities.

The abbreviation ID. means intelligent design, intelligent identity and advanced technologies. Digit 4 on the other hand indicates the new model as a representative in the compact SUV category.

The aerodynamic exterior design of the ID.4 perfectly sets the stage for the MEB architecture: short front end, long wheelbase, excellent cabin spaces and open space philosophy.
