It is increasingly getting very difficult for tech companies to keep upcoming products as secretes from the Chinese social media websites. Almost every product shows up there weeks or even months before coming out. We have just come across another leak of an upcoming product on Weibo. This time around, it is something that looks like the real image of Xiaomi’s forthcoming Electric Vehicle.

The new EV is tipped to come with the name Xiaomi MS11. As it stands, no one really knows what the ‘MS’ in the name stands for. What we do know now is the looks of the car.

Well, the car has come into the spotlight on several occasions. A notable example is when it was spotted during the winter test. However, a user on Weibo has come into contact with what seems to be the real vehicle without a disguised mask like what we have seen recently.

Judging from the photos, the Xiaomi EV does not look like a hatchback. It is rather a 5-door sedan electric vehicle. In as much as this vehicle look Xiaomi all over, we cannot really confirm it until the official image comes out from Xiaomi. This is because the Vehicle in the photo has some resemblance with BYD Seal, another EV brand in China.

The car in the photos come with full glass roof, large tyres and Wilwood brakes. You can clearly see the Xiaomi logo sitting at the center of the rims. On top of the windscreen sits an object. This objects certainly will be a LiDAR sensor.

As expected, the Xiaomi car does not seem to have any unique design to those we already have. This is Xiaomi’s first vehicle and the company would not like to risk it from the beginning with a different design. They have to go for a design that everyone is familiar with. The real difference will be in the performance and of course, the features the vehicle may come with.

Talking of features, that would definitely be from the interior. What we have here is just the exterior. Hopefully, we may get to see leaked images of the interior before launch and share the news as usual.
