Opel Insignia. A new IntelliLux LED Pixel Light adaptive lighting system, which incorporates 84 LEDs per headlamp, providing excellent driver visibility, features the updated Insignia.

This system is unique in its class, incorporating a total of 168 LEDs. Headlamps respond faster and more accurately to prevailing driving conditions, constantly adjusting the beam and ideally illuminating the road.

The high beam is continuously adjusted in fractions of a second by two control units – one connected to the front camera and one to the projector.

The large number of continuously reacting LEDs results in the continuous adjustment of the light beam.

The illuminated area is larger than before, and the blackout for the front and opposite vehicles is more precise.

The range and direction of the beam vary depending on driving conditions and the surrounding environment.

Lighting features include from turning lighting and adverse weather to city lighting, countryside and motorway lighting, as well as optimized parking lighting.

At left turns, the light beam is longer to the left so that the driver can clearly see the road signs.

Turning right in autobahn mode, the beam is brighter to the right, so as not to blur the passing drivers.
